Major software and hardware component of the VST ITS are as follows.
Vehicle Monitoring System (VMU)
VMU is a hardware device powered with Android OS having the facility of GPS tracking, OBD integration for collecting vehicle health data and driving behaviour, dual Data switching and with high end multimedia features. All VTSs devices are installed in the Vehicle are preinstalled with VST Vendor App consisting of camera, navigation, SOS button, Bi directional communication system, way bill generation, driver authentication modules. Electronic Ticketing Machine (ETM)
An android OS powered hardware device mainly used for issuing tickets and collecting bus fare in online manner. The payment can be made through all kind of Credit/ Debit cards, prepaid Card & mobile wallets, QR code, NFC cards. This device is acting as a backup device of VTS for online tracking and updating. All ETMs are preloaded with VST Ticketing solution for online issue of ticket, collecting online payment and for the use of prepaid cards. Issuing of each tickets shall updated to server in real time manner and same can be viewed through our Admin panel
Passenger Information System (PIS) in vehicle
PIS is a led display for alert the bus users, about the bus stop information (current, next), a route details, GPS navigation, delay time, speed of the journey, KM covered, etc. The multimedia facility available in the VMU can be extended to this PIS for playing all kinds of videos, music and playing advertisements.
VST Fleet manger Module (Admin panel)
Software module for fleet operator to schedule the trips and also place the various stops with starting and ending points in trips. Time management, fleet allocation for various trips, Driver allocation, etc. The dash board in the admin panel shall provide complete information on all real time data about each trip like number of passengers in the bus, ticket issued, amount collected with split-ups and mode of amount collected. Real time navigation of fleet in the map, etc.
VST ERP module
It helps the management to coordinate, monitor and get report on various operation, maintenance and financials in the fleet operation.
VST advertisement and multimedia module
It helps the fleet operator and their clients to upload and monitor the various advertisements and multimedia contents in the PIS of the buses.
Payment Kiosk for Prepaid Cards
Prepaid cards with multiple payment facility is an integral component for smart cities. VST Smart system is equipped with the NFC prepaid cards. VST Payment kiosk is facilitated with its distribution and recharge.
